Where fairies belong

Oh hey Steph

If you live in Perth, you'll probably have constant tendencies to hunt for places to go to, secret gems to discover. After much Googling (yeah, so much physical hardship there), we finally found a not-so-secret, secret garden located in Gwelup, Western Australia.

Oddly located next to a housing estate, the little patch of nature was a diamond in the rough. With its wildly beautiful vines creeping up the tall trees, one would easily loose track of their footing while trudging through the muddy ground. My mum got the worst of it and stepped on a pile of dog poop hidden discreetly amongst foliage. Despite that, the place was a movie set of a fairytale.

I do wish it was spring though, where the vines and trees would be a little greener, a little wilder, a little crazier.

There were far too little footages to make a short video, and a few too many good clips to not share, so I opted for a couple of gifs.

Here are my faves (they may take a while to load):

Fave, fave, favourite corner

And here are my fave pics:

Dad's becoming quite a photographer

The so-called "Secret Garden" is not so much of a secret after all

You've probably seen this on Insta, but here's the full picture
