Amelia & Dansan

Erm, stop being cute?

August 2015

I honestly can't remember what went down in August, besides the fact that Amelia (the big sis) and Dansan (the big sis' boyfriend) flew over from Sydney for a short visit.

One thing that Amelia's been craving for is this place we found in 2013, when it was still a quaint little place in South Terrace Piazza. It was the first time we ever thought that vegan food was to die for, and their desserts just brought us to afterlife.

They've since moved to a bigger location on High Street with higher ceilings, wider walls and even greater interior. Despite these upgrades, the food stuck to its top-notch quality and we all did not fail to drool at the sight and taste of it.

Who knew zucchini pastas would taste this good?

YASSSS

The rest of the day was spent in Freo, where we visited its markets, independent boutiques and shops.

The next day (or the day after idk) we decided to bring them to Swan Valley.
No one can start a long day without good brunch food, so we brought them to one of our faves, Taylor's Art and Coffee House. Nothing goes wrong whenever we're there. Well, so far anyway. The ambience never fails to please.
Oh and don't get me started on the food.
(yumyumyum)
Oh and the interior.
(cute af with the mismatched vintage furniture)

And then it was chocolate timeee! We popped by Whistler's Chocolate Co. after brunch. You can tell that Dansan was excited for that.

This was legit his reaction upon seeing our purchases
There's no way we can avoid our childish antics when we see a sandbox. We spent way longer than we should over there, yet failed to build a decent sandcastle.
Kicked the children out of the sandbox coz we're selfish
After that we went for a scenic drive and a short walk at John Forrest National Park. 10 minutes into the scenic drive and we were already getting kicked out because they were closing the gates. But that's okay coz we got decent shots of the view from up there.

See how tiny Perth City is? Pretty cute though.

The moment they realised I've been paparazzing them.

We were in the park for not more than an hour when it started raining, forcing our disappointed bums out of the park and back home, calling it a day.

Hiding out from the rain.
